Just finished reading a short story of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button', written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. I was extremely interested in reading it as soon as I found out about it in the internet. I was able to finish it in less than 2 hours as it only contains 47 pages, to be exact.

The story told was about a man's life lived in reverse. He (Benjamin Button) was born as a 70 years old man and gradually 'grown' to an infant. The story was brilliant, captivating and moving written with wit, poise, sentimentality and beauty by Fitzgerald. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story.

A movie (starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett) was made based on this short story. Though, most reviewers find that the movie is quite far similar to the original story and it seems like the movie was much more compelling. I'm yet to be able to make any comments since I've never watched the movie before, but I would definitely give it a try. You can view the movie synopsis and watch the trailers here: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

EDIT:-
I've finally finished watching the movie (right after writing this post, I went to watch it). It was amazing! The movie is quite different from the short story but it's expected since the movie is more than 2 hours long and the short story? 47 pages. In my opinion, it's no doubt that the movie is far much better than the short story. Both made me sad but the movie made me shed my tears at the end. Definitely worth watching. Rating 3.7/5.
