If you're craving for something REAL SWEET in Malaysia, you should try Air Sirap Bandung. I'll take you there & give it all to you (including mine) 'cuz it's really too sweet for me. But most people (especially Malay, they love it VERY much ^^)

Picture
Next sweet thing is Ais Kacang! Ice Blended with lots and lots of other ingredients like peanut, red beans, sago, cincau, etc. topped with syrup of all kinds of flavor (most popular one would be strawberry flavor).

Picture
Before you collapse, try out the Ice-cream Potong! Available in all types of flavor: Red bean, yam, durian, etc!

Well to be frank, this ice-cream Potong isn't really bad. I like it. The red bean flavor (or yam). hehehe.

These were all taken when I was having a buffet (Malay Cuisine) where you eat things like nasi lemak, soup kambing (lamb soup), satay, asam laksa, etc etc.

I don't quite remember the name of the place I had it, but it's in a hotel in Malaysia. And seriously, there won't be another time (^___^)

After watching the Harry Potter: The Deathly Hollows Part I, me and my sis went to Elcerdo to join my other family members for dinner. This is my second visit to Elcerdo. El Cerdo is a Spanish word meaning pig. So yes, using your common sense, Elcerdo serves Spanish cuisine and specializes in pork dishes.

Although it costs an average of RM100 for a dish, there are still a lot of people who dines in Elcerdo. You need to call for booking in order to secure your seats. One thing I quoted from the waitress there, "60% of the diners in Elcerdo are regular customers, whereas the remaining 30% are first timers." Get that, readers?

Also, one of the fun things you could do in Elcerdo is by ordering their suckling pig (It costs around RM200 and I do still think that Chinese made suckling pig tasted better than theirs!). By ordering their suckling pig, you get to use a plate knock on the wooden platter and uses it to cut the pig. Well, of course, that's not all. You will then get to make a wish and smash that plate into a barrow. (of course, nice word will be smash, but in reality, you're just gonna 'let go' of that dish into the barrow and let it heads the rock and smashes into pieces.) Just remember to bring your camcorder if you decide to order their suckling pig ;)

The one i went to is located in Changkat, Bukit Bintang. This is the one I visited for the first time. It's hard to find parking there, but if you're lucky, you get to park right at its doorstep! If not, just park your car in the Radius Hotel nearby and walk there by foot. It's just a few yards away, no sweat!

Picture
My second visit is at this place, next to the above one. Frankly speaking, I preferred the place mentioned above than this one here. To me, it seems like the above one is much more comfortable and cozier.

Picture
Complimentary bread (refillable) + a cup of mushroom soup to start your meal. Just FYI, there's no sky drink provided. You need to order either the local bottled still water or 'imported sparkling and spring water' from the menu ;P

Picture
Here's the cup of soup for every diner in the house :D

Nothing stays the same forever. Not even for Elcerdo's menu. Chefs from other countries are hired to work here in Elcerdo Malaysia AND they don't stay long. So, you may not get the same product the next time you visit.

What you see in the picture is Jamon Serrano from Spain. What I love most in this dish is eating the cold balls of honeydew with the raws :D Not to forget the goat cheese too.

Picture
Paella, a Spanish rice dish cooked in a pan. This one here is served with King Tiger Prawn. A delicious dish, everyone should look out for.

Picture
This is one of the dishes I'd never forget. Tener Iberico Shoulder Loin Steak served on garlic toast with garden vegetable, potato & green pepper corn sauce. The steak i had was perfectly cooked! It was so delicious!

There's only one thing I dislike on that plate. It was the toast. I expected it to be more crusty, but it just got soaked in the sauce and oil, making it hard to be chewed on (harder than the steak, can you imagine that?) But overall, it's a good dish and the best steak I've ever had in my life! Salute to the chef who made this dish, for it's greatly done! A must try dish!

The bar.
Nice environment to catch up with friends or colleagues while enjoying alcoholic drinks.

Ordered 2 pints of Hoegaarden Witbier Draught Beer.

Over here is the delicious looking German Crispy Knuckle seasoned (I like the crispy fried skin but Kentucky's Spicy Fried Chicken skin is still the best XD)

Picture
Also served with potato, sauerkraut and mustard & beer sauce, & apple mousse.

Specially ordered for the birthday girl. 3 chocolate brownies garnished with a slice of glazed orange, accompanied by crushed nuts & sour cream with mint leave. The brownies were well baked -Soft at the the center, crisp at the top- It was delicious. NOT to forget there's also a cute little wooden piggy as a gift! :D The waiter told me that it's some kind of a lucky pig, so keep it well =3

What's more cute & funny was the birthday song sang by the waiters over there which goes like:-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, OINK OINK,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, OINK OINK,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY... HAPPY BIRTHDAY...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, OINK OINK!!

For the love of your stomach :)
Served last, is the digestive drink which contains alcohol. The first time I had it was quite okay. But for the second time, it was too strong for me. But, overall, yeah, it works well with my stomach. LOL.

Comment:-
Great food served splendidly by the waiters with professionalism, politeness & smile. Less waiting hour for food serving. Your next dish will be served only when you've finished the dish on your table, which is good. So, they deserve a perfect score for service. They don't serve plain water for free and no free flows for any drinks in the menu. But the drinks were quite okay, anyway :) Hard to find parking space there, especially during night time. Price may be high but food served are valued for its price. A place where you will be back again :)
