_It was my birthday (yes, am getting old!). My family and I went to MeatWorks at Solaris Dutamas. Disappointing to say that the food were not as good as they look like. There's only a few choices in the menu and I can tell you that they're not cheap. (If not you, for me price does not really matter when the food served is really well worthy of its price). Yes, smart people like you always know what's coming next -> The food served really doesn't suit the price collar!

It's either tasteless or too salty (the soup). Ordered medium-rare but came out well done. The meat were hard to chew on, it didn't quite absorb the sauce. Nothing to savor on. Bad cook cooks bad food. Tasteless. Just horrible. Not what to be expected with such average high-end prices.

Dear readers, if you ever plan to open a restaurant, do NOT ever charge customers for a dish with high prices and serve them with mamak store's quality. It's OUTRAGEOUS! Be SENSIBLE!
And if you do, don't expect us to come back to your restaurant ever again! Geez, so much for a review. Got me fired up! :P

Ordered these for dinner. Not bad, I shall say. :)

Bought some Gonbei San coupons from a deal site. All you can eat Japanese Buffet at Gonbei San Restaurant. Food was superb, service was magnificent. However, this is a Japanese fine dine restaurant. Meaning, this Japanese buffet is for a limited time period and only applicable for the coupon buyers (which is already over). But I can assure you that the food served there will be well worth its price :)

Had lunch at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur's Food Court. I think their food court is the best compared to other shopping complexes' food court. Don't you think so?

In other words, pork with rice for lunch.

I don't understand why, but there's this shop in Melaka, (Please note that this shop doesn't have a name) their layer cakes are always sold out fast! A lot of people will be queuing there and each and every customer will buy at least 5 or ALL of the different flavors of layer cake available in the shop. Bear in mind that, each piece of layer cake in that shop is sold for RM9.00 (Not cheap!). They may have different sorts of flavors but each and every of them seems to be indifferent to me. However, a lot of people who ate it, LOVES it. Is it just me, or what?

Fortune cat at shops used to attract more customers :3
P.S.: Their shop only sells layer cake & coffee. No espresso, cappuccino, mocha or anything else. It's located somewhere which is quite hard to find. No brand or shop name. BUT the shop is still full of customers. I wonder why. They've got a 'Fortune Cat' placed on their front door?

Another Groupon deal of BBQ Buffet Dinner at Seoul Garden. Lots of meat and veges BUT I personally think that the food they serve are just not worth the actual price. There won't be a second time but at least I've tried once ;D

Went to Starbucks to meet up a friend for a drink. It's been quite a while since we've last seen each other! We talked so many things and so many random things! XD But it was enjoying.

Bought a RM25 Groupon deal for a 2 course meal at Pastis (Cafe & Dining) at Gardens, MV. The coupon includes coffee/tea (refillable), a main dish and dessert. It was really a good deal. The food was fabulous. Will return again to try their other dishes :) They also have a lot of yummy looking desserts. Price is a little above average but affordable and worthy :) The portion is quite big, so it is advised not to order too many main dish if you plan to order soup, starters or desserts.
